Another pearl of luxury resorts are the Alila Villas in Uluwatu. For this project WOHA designed luxurious contemporary villa’s which are for sale, and serve as well as a fine getaway for travelers visiting Bali. A fine balance between modern details and Balinese architectural references can be seen in the villas.
A nice detail about this project is the fact that the aim was to build a resort to Green Globe certification and with Environmentally Sustainable Design (ESD) standards without losing the architectural vision.
